Spiegel - A Soviet soldier heroically waves the red flag, the hammer and sickle billow above the Reichstag. Yevgeny Khaldei photographed one of the iconic images of the 20th century. But the legendary image was manipulated to conceal the fact that the Soviet soldiers on the roof had been looting.

B92 Blog by Jelica Greganović - Daklem, prva rečenica nadasve neobičnog saopštenja (a nisam ih malo neobičnih videla) glasi :«Slovenačko predsedništvo EU izražava zabrinutost i osuđuje nedavne gusarske napade…« Posle trećeg čitanja, oči su mi narasle na veličinu dobro nabujale repe, ali i dalje mi se činilo da to ipak…Dalje je sledilo da su gusari, u ponedeljak, probali da zauzmu japanski naftni tanker i nisu uspeli. Da su u nedelju oteli ribarsku, špansku lađu i na njoj 26 ribara. Tu negde je pred očima počela da mi se vijori dronjava crna krpa sa par koski i lobanjom, papagaj na ramenu i rum.

Thousands queue to see corpse of Padre Pio
Independent - Twenty thousand pilgrims queued for hours for a glimpse of the body of St Pio of Pietrelcina, better known as Padre Pio, with a mask ordered from the company that supplies Madame Tussauds covering the skull. The body of the most popular and controversial saint of modern times was put on public display yesterday, 40 years after his death, at the centre of his cult in San Giovanni Rotondo.
