Financial Times - Russia’s reassertion of its military muscle in Georgia makes matters worse, even if most Russians believe the action was justified. Being at loggerheads with the US and the western world will not make access to global capital markets any easier. Western investors are not going to pull out of Russia, but they will demand a higher risk premium. The cost to Russia may be far higher than that of invading a small country in the Caucasus.
