Seeds of spring - A rebellion against censorship

Eurozine - When Ivan Klíma and fellow writers like Milan Kundera, Ludvík Vaculík, and Pavel Kohout stood up against censorship in Cekoslovakia at the 1967 Writers’ Congress, the literary weekly Literární noviny, an “opposition mouthpiece”, was disbanded by the regime. Yet the seed was sown for the Prague Spring of 1968.
