IHT - China may have overwhelmed the United States - not to mention the rest of the world - in its quest for Olympic gold, but when it comes to trade, China may be losing its advantage. A spate of factors including a weak dollar, sluggish U.S. demand and high commodity prices have started to rebalance the trade accounts of China and the United States.

Demokratsko društvo nije pravedno
B92 Blog by Dušan Maljković - „Ričard Rorti tvrdi: “Demokratija je važnija od filozofije”. Sa ovim političkim principom Rorti faktički priprema teren za gubljenje filozofije u kulturnom relativizmu. Platon na početku filozofije kaže upravo suprotno: filozofija je mnogo važnija od demokratije. I ako je pravednost filozofsko ime za politiku kao kolektivnu istinu, onda je pravednost važnija od slobode. Velika kritika demokratske politike kod Platona je svakako ambivalentna. S jedne strane predstavlja lično mišljenje jednog aristokrate. Ali s druge pokazuje stvarni problem, naime osnovnu protivrečnost između slobode i pravednosti.
