Why we need a parents’ liberation movement

sp!ked, by Jennie Bristow - We do not need a women’s liberation movement. We have been there, done that, and concluded that men are not the problem after all. What we do need, in the 21st century, is a parents’ liberation movement, to take a stand against the infantilisation and repression of mothers and fathers that seeks to undermine both our family lives and our sense of self. To understand why we need this movement, we need to appreciate just how much the politics of the family has changed – for better and for worse.
