Republika - Kritički analitičari neoliberalizma među sobom se manje-više slažu da je neoliberalnim jurišom na mesto hegemone ideologije klasična levica ostala levica samo po imenu, kao i zbog očuvanja položaja stranačkih hijerarhija. Međutim, ponekad se – kao 2006. na predsedničkim izborima u Francuskoj – dogodi da nastupi neko ko nije bez razloga odbacio tradicionalna stanovišta, a da naiđe na otpor baš kod onih koji bi po logici stranačkih merila moći morali da ga (je) podrže. Doduše, bilo je očigledno da je stranačka birokratija mentalno već bila prešla u suparnički tabor da bi sada samo iskorišćavala »minuli rad« za demagoške pritiske na birače kojima ne nudi ništa bitno novije u odnosu na to što im nudi neokonzervativna falanga.
