OK, je pa zanimivo, da je ta podatek usel tudi danasnjim Sportskim novostim...

Sicer pa danasnje postave, kot jih vidi Reuters:

Slovenia: Samir Handanovic; Branko Ilic, Matej Mavric, Bojan Jokic, Bostjan Cesar, Goran Sukalo, Andrej Komac, Nastja Ceh, Robert Koren, Klemen Lavric, Ermin Rakovic.

Netherlands: Edwin van der Sar; John Heitinga, Joris Mathijsen, Wilfred Bouma, Giovanni van Bronckhorst; Wesley Sneijder, Demy de Zeeuw, Clarence Seedorf; Arjen Robben, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Ryan Babel.

Zaradi lazjih poskodb visita tudi Robben in Sneijder.

Mimogrede se: Asianhandicap.com napoveduje zmago Slovenije, ki ji podarja kvoto le 2,11 (Nizozemski sicer 1,83). Zakaj?

Slovenia comes up against Holland with a match in hand at the Petrol Arena in Ljubljana. In the 4 matches that they played (only 1 at home) it must be noted that the only time that the Slovenians had failed to impress was that 0-3 loss at the hands of the Bulgarians.

Slovenia has come from a long way and has just started to make themselves felt. They made it to the WC 2002 but failed to make it in the WC 2006 where they put up commendable displays like beating the Italians 1-0 (eventual winners) here.

With only a win in their sole home match in which they beat minnows Luxemburg, Slovenia will want will want to add another 3 points here today to close the gap on 2nd and 3rd placed Bulgaria and Romania respectively. The duo is 4 points ahead and a win here will cut their lead to just 1 point and they have what it takes against the Dutch side especially at the moment when their visitors are not at their best. The Dutch were held to a 0-0 draw by Romania last weekend whilst Slovenia held Albania to that same score under torrential rain.

The visitors will miss their top striker, Robin van Persie, like they did in that match against Romania and they have a number of casualties. Likewise they also have a handful key players like Robben and Sneijder who are doubtful for this tie as they are nursing knee injuries.
